Life of a Dog…

April 3rd, 2009
Dogs

The Dog has no use for Fancy Cars or Big homes or fancy designer cloths…

A water log stick will just do fine.

The Dog didn’t care if you are rich or poor
Clever, dull , smart or dumb
Give him your heart, it will give you his….

How many people can you say that about?
How many people can make you feel rare, pure and special?
How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

excerpts from movie Marley and Me

Love, The Elixir of Life!

July 11th, 2008

 Sarang He

(picture from http://www.hancinema.net )

It’s been a while since the last i blog….  I have recently watched a great korean tv drame “save the last dance for me”. One of the best love story drama i have ever watched.

Love is something one cannot simple TAKE or BUY…
One need to earn LOVE, through patience, actions, words and heart…

Love, is the elixir of Life… it’s  simply the invisible strenghts that power the existence of mankind. Don’t forget to Love….  cherish the people around us, a simple hug and kiss will fuel energy within…

Enjoy this wonderful piece of Music : Give my Love.

When I look in your eyes I can see that you
Want to be with me but you’re so scared
And i don’t know what to say or do
But the tears keep falling from your eyes
And I know that
Times won’t change my love
And I can’t do nothing to keep you

Oh, I’ll give my love oh when I hold you tight
Give my love through kisses oh so bright
And you know that I can’t change my love
Take my love all through the night ……….

As the hours pass away
You thing that love ain’t here to stay
Feel a beat from your chest
But you don’t give doubt a moment’s rest
You dream the future and all you see is dark
Listen to your heart baby, the truth will set sparks

Now I’ll give my love oh when I hold you tight
Give my love through kisses oh so bright
And you know that I can’t change my love
Take my love all through the night.

Love

China Sichuan Earthquake

May 21st, 2008

wenchuan earthquake

To all my readers, this is the biggest earthquake i have ever experienced by my family members residing in Si Chuan…  After hearing the earthquake report in SiChuan, immediately I try to call my family, but all telecommunication was affected by the quake.. We were so worried, we tried to book flights to Si Chuan province… All airports in that area was closed!!

Luckily we were able to contact on my parents on their cell phone…. They are safe! thank god!

Few days later, we manage to book the flight over to Sichuan, while we were there….. its simply a very sad scene… i couldnt stop my tears worrying about the people in the affected areas, todate over 35,000 people have died..

While staying there making sure my parents are allright, there was one night at 1:10am while we were all sleeping, we experienced another quake, we ran for our lives to open grounds…

But through this earthquake , I can see Chinese are so united as one, helping one another….   Many people organized truck loads and car loads of Food and Water to the quake victims… I have never seen anything like this before! I really felt that in everyone’s heart there is love for their people, helping , saving and contributing what they can do for the victims.

Here, I would like to thank the Government of China , the armies, doctors, nurses and many more volunteers for the great job they have done!

China will definately be Stronger & United!
All Chinese around the world should unite as one!
We will be the strongest!

Welcome World 2008

January 25th, 2008

Would like to thank all my readers and support all these years! Its been ages again since the last i post any new songs! Very sorry about it.. It’s been a very challenging year for me 2007…  Year 2008 will be another new chapter and new challenge…  Recently i came across a blog from the CEO of Tune Money , Tengku Zafrul .

Something i would like to share excerpts from his blog:-

”I notice that people an do so much more than they give themselves credit for. I once read the phrase: “throw your heart over the bar and your body will follow”. What this means is, take the chance and do your best. Somehow, you will find the resources to do it. Because if you were offered the job, it means someone, somewhere believed you were capable of doing it.

So now, what’s left, is for you to believe in yourself. And work your butt off to justify their faith in you.

A CEO today has to be hands-on. He or she cannot delegate and go out for another round of golf. That may have been what it was like before but that time has passed. You need to know what’s going on at every level. Things are likely to slip if you let them. It helps if you’re an insomniac especially when you find yourself in meetings at three in the morning. You have to learn to be a performer because most likely you will be the face of the company and if people like and trust you, they will like and trust your company.

Although you may be tempted to oversell, don’t! Try to keep it real. A little credibility goes a long way. You’re going to have to work harder than you ever have.

Being a CEO is not a glamour job.

It just appears that way.”

Four Seasons, Vivaldi

May 12th, 2006

Four Seasons by Vivaldi

Simply marvelous piece of work! Enjoy this easy listening classical music…

Food for thoughts….

Recently read something from my favourite coach Jack Canfield.

Are You Confusing Your Brain?
How to Program Your Mind to Attract What You Want

by Jack Canfield, America’s Success Coach

We all aspire to be, do and have great things. Yet most of us simply aren’t creating the results we want. We don’t have enough money, romance, success or joy in our lives. But what we need to understand is that greatness exists in all of us. It is simply up to us to pull it out of ourselves. We all have genius.
We just need to learn how to apply it.

Decide What You Want
In order to get what you want, you must first decide what you want. Most people really foul up at this crucial first step because they simply can’t see how it’s possible to get what they want — so they don’t even let themselves want it.

Don’t sabotage yourself that way!

What scientists now know about how the brain works is that you must first decide WHAT you want, before your brain can figure out HOW to get it. Once you lock-in your desires, your mind and the universe can step in.

Are you ready to get started? Read the rest of this entry »

Life!

Le Vent M’A Dit by Caina

Every morning, when i wake up… I hear birds chirping, beautiful sunshine warming my winter cold…

Another great day ahead.

Listening to this music, reminds me of all the beautiful scenery along the way to my work….. Everything seems so alive in the morning… Trees looks greener than yesterday, Flowers bloom beautifully with its vibrant colors…

My shuttle bus ride, I see Beautiful beach, lovely greens along the way… It’s Life!

One should enjoy life as much as possible, not even wasting any single moment!!
Share your best moments with your love ones…
You will see a different world…
We define our own world and how we see things…
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder…

Café del Mar

January 24th, 2006

Cafe Del Mar by Carlitos

I have been listening to lots of great music from Café del Mar collections… Ever wonder what is Café del Mar is all about?

Café del Mar is a bar located in San Antonio, Ibiza. Tourists flock there on a daily basis during the summer to view the beautiful sunset. Café del Mar is the original “the sunset bar” in San Antonio opened by Ramón Guiral, Carlos Andrea, and José Les in 1978.

Part of watching the sunset is the music – described as ambient, easy listening instrumental music. The bar originally sold their own tapes of the music but a series of Café del Mar CDs have been sold. Currently (as of 2005) there are 12 volumes plus 2 albums commemorating the 20th and 25th Anniversary. A total of about 9 million albums have been sold worldwide.

“The Future of Classical Music Lies in China”

January 3rd, 2006

With over 1.3 billion people China is the world’s most populous country. It is a country with a very rich musical culture dating back to the dawn of the Chinese civilization as early as 1122BC – 256BC. The Russo-European classical tradition had a major impact on Chinese music until the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) banned intellectual pursuits including the education and performance of western classical music (though some continued to indulge their enjoyment of the music as performers and listeners at great peril). Today western classical music is en vogue in China, and becoming increasingly popular with the masses as venues clamour to book top western orchestras. This coupled with China’s world class performers such as Lang Lang, Jian Wang, and Yundi Li – make China a major power in the world of classical music.

The Berliner Philharmoniker recently embarked on a concert tour and experienced the phenomenon first hand. There is an excellent, well written article reporting on this tour by Claus Spahn at Die Ziet (in German), The English translation of the article – The long march to Beethoven is also available.

Evan Williams’ Ten Rules for Web Startups

November 30th, 2005
Web Startup

Ten Rules for Web Startups Evan has a good list of rules for internet start ups. I like Number 3.

“#3: Be Casual
We’re moving into what I call the era of the “Casual Web” (and casual content creation). This is much bigger than the hobbyist web or the professional web. Why? Because people have lives. And now, people with lives also have broadband. If you want to hit the really big home runs, create services that fit in with—and, indeed, help—people’s everyday lives without requiring lots of commitment or identity change. Flickr enables personal publishing among millions of folks who would never consider themselves personal publishers—they’re just sharing pictures with friends and family, a casual activity. Casual games are huge. Skype enables casual conversations.”

US$100 Laptop

November 21st, 2005

US$100 laptop sound like a dream comes true! Personally I think its a great solution. Computer penetration is definately too low now. We need to get everyone connected somehow into Information Superhighway. US$100 laptop is great for developing countries… This is a great way to speed up the learning with use of technology to all kids and even adult. Great Work! I will definately get one for myself.

As for United Nation:-
I strongly suggest that United Nation first feed the poor children with food rather than a US$100 laptop. Global poverty is a big issue! United Nation tag-line should be “One hamburger per child”.

Cheers!

Is what you listening now Music?

November 8th, 2005

Music, is part of our lives… Music can bring you happy, sad, lonely, confidence … the list goes on and on… It’s part of us. But what is real music?

Presently, the music that is being presented to the people is void of direction and emotion. Music today is being presented merely for the sake of a few; it is for those who seek stimulation and pleasure of the moment. Modern music is slowly deteriorating. It has lost the spirit of humanism and no longer has the power to inspire vitality and hope for the future. Music often determines the direction in which the youth of a nation will travel. How unfortunate that the level of modern music has led youth on the path to delinquency. When music plays such a role, its functions must be called evil. By President Ikeda of SGI

Music is the flower of culture, a language common to the entire world. It is a thing of beauty sought by everyone. True music is music that brings Culture and Love to everyone.

Power of Music and Art…

November 4th, 2005

Today… I will not write about any music… Recently I have the pleasure to meet some great people from Andrea Bocelli’s Forum. I am really happy to be able to find someone that shares the same interests in Music and Art.

Here i would like to share a post from by PIM from Portugal on what she thinks of Music and Art …

Original post can be found here

Elvin for me, personally, to have in this forum a person as yourself, enlights me…. Yes, all my life I have listen to classic and non-classic music.
But the non-classic music, is from my days, Elvis Presley, Beatles, Neil Diamond, Righeous Brothers ( Unchained Melody ) and so on. But also to jazz….

But classics, where always the strong point in my home… no matter in which composer, in which vocal ( male or female) nor matter in which century we had the background of his music.

A voice is undoubtly a caller, as Andrea Bocelli did said once, and no doubt that in the World of Arts… in which I was insered, and still today, not only music, but painting, sculpture and literature. Read the rest of this entry »
