Jamie Cullum

High and Dry by Jamie Cullum

This 26 year old has brought jazz music to the masses. His Debut Album “Twenty Something” sold over 2 million copies and received a Grammy nomination. His album “Catching Tales” offers more pop influenced jazz. He wrote the entire album (except a couple of jazz standards) in 4 months.

I just love Jamie’s music…. listening to his track “High and Dry” , writing my feelings…. Its not about the lyrics.. its about the music, the tune, Jamie’s voice.. GREAT WORK Jamie!

Respect! Not everything is all about how old you are, how many years of experience you have…. There are many things we can learn from young people. Their innocence, Their Pureness, Their unlimited Love…

When we were Babies, we don’t care for anything at all, we will just do whatever we want, wherever we are, without hesitations…. As we grow older, we were told not to do this, we can’t do that. Many times, we are afraid try new things, make a big leap, make a big step because our comfort zone. Afraid to take a new step, afraid of changes, afraid of losses.

Sometimes, we should try to make a first step out of our comfort zone. Try new things… world without limit, Spread our wings! Do great things! Why some people are so successful in life?

They DARE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEPS! You might see great things… Believe in yourself!

Cheers!

The Late Billy Holiday

November 1st, 2005

Good Morning Heartache, by the late Billy Holiday

Billie Holiday’s grandfather was one of 17 children of a black Virginia slave and a white Irish plantation owner. Her mother was only 13 when she was born. Between 1933 and 1944, she recorded over 200 “sides,” but she never received royalties for any of them.

Good Morning Heartache

Despite a lack of technical training, Holiday’s unique diction, inimitable phrasing and acute dramatic intensity made her the outstanding jazz singer of her day. Billie Holiday, a musical legend still popular today, died an untimely death at the age of 44.

Words can hardly express my feelings over her music. I strongly suggest all my friends and reader to purchase her CD collections! You can purchase her CD here Holiday Favorites

One can feel her soulful music! It’s full of love and passion… Her music is definitely The Flower of Culture. All her music is filled with love and passion, sang with pure love and passion, you can feel by just listening to her voice… It’s excellent!

Enjoy
